Nu:Tone – Shine In
Nu:Tone recently did a Maida Vale Live Session which was aired last night on Mistajam's 1Xtra show; he performed "Shine In" (the lead single from Nu:Tone's recently released album "Words + Pictures") alongside "System", "Spread Love" and a cover of Adele's "Rolling In The Deep". The performers included: Dan Nu:Tone on keys, Richard Spaven on drums, Robin Mullarkey on bass and Matt Logistics on samples + FX, plus Natalie Williams as lead vocalist and Sharlene Hector and Brendan Reilly providing backing vocals.
Dan Nu:Tone commented: "Ever since I released my first album, people have been asking if and when I'm going to do a live 'thing'. Up to this point, it's never felt right – I think there are so many elements that have to be in place. But finally, it made sense, and thanks to Natalie, an amazing group of musicians, and a lot of hard work, it all came together."

So…
When I recorded this podcast initially, I did the voice-over live, and thru a bit of confusion, I called this one “podcast 20″, when obviously it isn’t. I had to insert a voice saying “19″, which you’ll get a kick out of if anyone has ever seen a hastily-edited out-of-date training video for some shit job.. it makes the recording sound so… corporate ;)
Anyhow, a few mixed and matched styles for your enjoyment. See you in Miami, bitches!
