Tracklist/Description: This week, I am really happy to welcome @lucky-sun to The Sunday Supplement 'Guest Mix Series' … ♥️ Lucky Sun (aka Tom Lown) is best known for his super deep productions which have been released on labels such as Lost My Dog, UM Records, Personal Belongings, Delve Deeper Records and his own Lucky Sun Recordings. His first 2 albums ‘Olive Street’ and ‘Balance’ under his Lucky Sun moniker, were highly received by DJ Mag and a host of worldwide DJ’s. They featured collaborations with vocalists Alison David, Frank H Carter III and Deniz Reno. Some great support for this album came from DJ’s Hot Toddy, Rainer Trueby, Ashley Beedle, Marcia Carr, CJ Makintosh, Satoshi Fumi, Peter Kruder, Funky Foot, Colin Dale and reviews in The Yorkshire Times and 48 Hills (San Fran). ‘Lucky Sun: Singles & Remixes’ album is set to be released in a couple of months. It includes collaborations with Jaidene Veda and Anna Ling, which have already had airplay on BBC Radio 1 by DJ S/A/M/ and Jazz FM. Look out for some Lucky Sun vinyl releases in 2026… As a DJ, Tom has played in numerous clubs and parties in London including Plastic People and Coalesce, SubKulture in New York, Cala Bassa Beach Club in Ibiza, Club Macarena in Barcelona and currently enjoys a monthly residency at Dishoom Permitt Room playing an eclectic mix of vinyl. You can hear his monthly ‘Lucky Sun Radio Show’ on Bloop London Radio, 3rd Friday of the month 6-7pm exploring the deeper side of house music.
