A DJ and collector for nearly 30 years, he guested at legendary UK raves, Sunrise, Energy and Biology back in the heyday of acid house. He now releases edits alongside Richard Sen on their Mixed Blood Cuts label focusing on the leftfield sound of early house, disco, newave, african and rock. The Cazman features all of the above in his DJ sets and continues digging on his motorbike daily, look for new Mixed Blood edits, peep his great wall pieces, and hopefully catch him playing at one of his DL basement jams. (and subsequently taking the act and Turbo sound on the road in a 1947 Greyhound bus) In 1998 Garth founded Grayhound recordings. Grayhound became the home label for his own projects including singles with Markie and as Rocket with Eric James. The label went on to release 53 singles from California recording artists including DJ Garth & E.T.I., Rocket, Defenders of the Faith, Wicked, Mirror Boys, DJ Harvey, Nectar, Stranger, Rasoul, EBE & Michoacan. Garth has done numerous remixes for the likes of, A Tribe Called Quest, The Glimmers, Perry Farrell, Faithless, The Units etc..... Garth and his longtime partner Jeno still do their Back to Back parties, and The Wicked Crew is reuniting this July to celebrate 20+ years, you can also catch Garth worldwide on tour and on the big screen as he has added acting to his palette of artistic endeavors.
